After leaving the confrontation outside, Ace returned to her new hiding spot, up in the shadows of the rafters. She couldn't stand being around when the news came out, watching people she's known and come to trust lose their faith in the man she loves. She's already watched it once, that was enough.
More than enough.
And no one came looking for her. She's not sure if that is a good thing, or a bad thing.
I won't kill him.
Promises get broken. What if he's... would she even know? She should go down, find out what happened, try to get on with life...
But it's almost safer here, in the dark.
Alone.
